Hello!
I’m Christina Dawkins, a human rights activist on a life-long quest to end the story of modern-day slavery.
As a Black woman in America, my life is all about what happens in the intersections of
- human trafficking, incarceration, and immigrant detention
- and of education, art, and activism.
I founded A4Abolitionist, a human rights consultancy, A4Academy for social justice warriors in the workplace, and the Abolition Project, a think-and-do tank (because who says thinking and doing can’t go hand in hand?).
I’m all about centering the voices of BIPOC women and girls. It’s not just a job; it’s a CALLING – to create a world where everyone is free to thrive.
Throughout my journey, I’ve used every tool in my arsenal - visual storytelling, systems mapping, and participatory methods - to fight modern-day slavery.
So that’s my story – I’m an Abolitionist, Academic, Artist, Activist, and firm believer that we can create a more just world. Want to join me on this journey? There’s always room for more abolitionists!
